The tour of the Salar begins with a visit to the Cemitério dos Conboios, where the remains of machinery from the end of the 19th century are located, after 30 minutes you will visit Colchani, a small town where you can observe the salt process, if you want to buy handicrafts made with of salt or llama or alpaca wool is a good place to choose one, so get ready to see the wonderful Salar de Uyuni that has more than 10,000 square kilometers, inside the Salar you will be able to appreciate the Montones de Sal (small salt pyramids that the inhabitants of the city do to dry and then process the salt), then you will see the Ojos del Salar (which are natural conduits through which the salt water circulates and ends in holes) then you will know the one and only Hotel de Sal ( Museum) inside the salt pan, continuing with the tour you will go directly to the IncaHuasi Island where you will see giant cacti, rock formations of petrified coral and a spectacular panoramic view of the Salar, in this place you you will enjoy your lunch. Returning to Uyuni, you will be able to enjoy the landscape in the middle of the salt flat and of course there will be no shortage of photos taken in perspective.

19:30 1 day before the tour. Pick-up from your hotel in La Paz (downtown).
20:00 Departure from the La Paz – Uyuni Bus: Arrival 05:00
10:30 am The tour starts by visiting the train cemetery or Colchani.
1:00 pm Visit and lunch at Ilha dos Peixes.
2:00 pm Walk around the island, to observe the giant cacti and the immensity of the salt pan near the Tunupa Volcano.
16:00 Visit to the famous Hotel de Sal, built with blocks of salt. Also salt furniture.
18:30 Return to Uyuni.
8:00 pm Return from Uyuni to La Paz arriving at 5:00 am.
