Within the largest lake of Titicaca, there are towns of supportive men and women who share their culture and their ancestral traditions. The traveler has the feeling of having jumped back in time, to relive a piece of the great history of the children of the Sun. These natives are great navigators and weaving masters who preserve their wisdom in the designs and decoration of their clothing and in their traditions. The island is also of great landscape value due to its location in the immensity of the lake. This tour is recommended for travelers who hike regularly, as there are no means of transportation on the island. Upon arrival on the island, visitors enjoy a one-hour walk to the town. Along the way you can appreciate nature and the daily life of its inhabitants. Once in the main town, the group has time to visit the craft market.

7:00 a.m. approx. Pick up from your Hotel in Puno and transfer to the main port of Puno, where we board a motor boat.
Trip by motor boat to Uros (30 min trip)
Arrival to the islands and meeting with the natives who share their ancestral experiences with us.
(Optional) Opportunity to take a walk on the totora rafts that cross the crystalline waters of Titicaca.
We say goodbye to the Uros to continue the trip to Taquile Island (2 hours and 30 minutes by boat).
arrival in Taquile to take a walk (20-30min) along the stone paths, ascending to the town where we find the somewhat shy but very industrious natives who demonstrate their art and wisdom to the visitor. These happy people, proud of their culture and their origin, invite us to appreciate the beauty of the landscape over the immensity of Titicaca.
At noon we take the opportunity to have lunch the delicious food that the natives offer us.
Later we start the walk around the island exploring its streets and observing its stone and adobe houses in contrast to nature.
2:30pm: We finally arrive at the port of the island to board our motor boat.
5:00 pm: arrival at the main port of Puno and transfer to the city center.
